Beware of Wolves in sheep's clothing
By Debbra Green

The Apostle Paul told Timothy that there would come a time when sound doctrine would not be endured by those who according to their own desires would turn from the truth of the word and listen to the doctrines of those false teachers who pretend to speak for God.

As believers we have the responsibility to take the Word of God as fact and not compromise because of societal changes. Without having a clear knowledge and acceptance of the scriptures as inerrant and practical for Christian living, neither we nor future generations will be able to stand in these evil days.

God does not want us to be ignorant of Satan's devices. He wants us to be able to confront falsehoods and to be able to stand in the times of storms. Sadly too many within the body of Christ has fallen prey to false teachings from the pulpit, talk shows, and filling our minds with the world's morals, values, and norms.

Presently some church leaders are questioning and denying issues that are concrete and not left open to interpretation such as the substitutionary atonement of Christ and the reality of hell.

But standing on His word equips us to successfully represent our Lord and Saviour and to fulfill His purpose in the earth realm.
Decline of a Nation
By Debbra Green

For decades America has chosen a path of rejecting God and has moved into the realm of secular humanism which denies God, Christ and the Bible. And Since God's standards are rejected we are now faced with a nation where man is free to substitute his own standards of morality without any regard to God or His principles. Judges 21:25 refers to a time in history when the morality of a nation was determined by man’s perception of what was right and what was wrong.

Prior to 1962-1963, America was advancing morally and what was considered taboo or less than desirable traits were either declining or remained steady. However, present day America paints a far different picture. America has been on a moral decline of unprecedented proportions and is now reaping the consequences thereof. This nation rose to world dominance being blessed by God due to the godly principles which was a guiding force in the morality of the nation. Removed from those principles we now see a nation which is presently a world leader in the following seven areas: 1. violent crimes, 2. illegal drug use, 3. divorce, 4. voluntary abortions, 5. teenage pregnancy 6. illiteracy, and 7. documented cases of AIDS.

As God and His principles continue to be systematically and incrementally removed from America, our nation will continue to experience even greater moral decay. Rest assured, society is moving in a direction that will ultimately bring judgment. God cannot and will not continue to tolerate or allow such actions.
The Sin Factor
By Debbra Green

Sin is an issue that must be addressed in the Church. All too often the sin problem is ignored even among those in leadership. If left unchecked sin will grow like a cancer and serves to bring embarrassment to the Church and makes God's name look bad.

It is most interesting how the word of God is not considered when it comes to to such things as sexual sin, abortions, and matters regarding marriage and divorce.

Judgement first begins in the house of God. God is jealous for His name and if we fail to deal with it God himself most certainly will. God through His grace gives us ample time to repent of our actions. Failure to do so ultimately leads to among other things, being put to an open shame and death to a ministry.
Perilous Times
By Debbra Green

The Apostle Paul warned Timothy of how perilous times would worsen leading up to the coming of Christ. He warned of how wickedness would intensify. Over the years we had seen those words come to life. People are driven by selfishness and pride exhibiting behaviors void of love and respect for one another. Increasing there is an irreverent and ambivalent attitude toward the things of God.

Though this is nothing new as it pertains to the world system but it is also becoming increasingly characteristic within the body of Christ. As Christians we are called to be separated from the world because the world system runs contrary to the principles God. We are called to be ambassadors of Christ and to effect change within our environments and not the other way around. God is calling the Church to order and repentance among his people.
Plight of a Nation and Christian Responsibility
by Debbra Green

No one can deny that we live in a nation far different from the one we knew in times past and even as recently as the last ten years. We see a nation far removed from the guiding principles of God which sustained and caused this nation to prosper and to become a world leader. Over the years we have been systematically abandoning those principles and replacing them with the exaltation of humanistic ideologies and popular public opinion. And in return we have become a nation that does not live in the fear of God and bearing the fruits of a moral and spiritual decline. Sadly, the Church itself which is to represent Christ has fallen victim to the culture and the ideologies thereof.

Failing to live in the fear of God only leads to wickedness and ultimate ruin. Psalms 9:17 lets us know that all individuals and nations that forget God shall be turned into hell. We have become a nation that no longer looks to God but looks to man. We have walked contrary to His word, ignored His warnings and have become a nation that is in trouble with God.

As Christians we have to accept responsibility for our actions. For the word of God declares in, 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Some might ask, what happened? What did I do to help cause this? How is it that I’m responsible for what happens to our Nation?

Though this is not all inclusive, the downfall of our nation began as we allowed sin and compromise to enter in our lives as well as in our local congregations. When opportunity presented itself there were times we did not stand up for the things of God. We have erred by putting trust in the words of politicians instead of looking to God from whence our help comes from to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. We ignored the truth of God and at times out of ignorance have cast our votes for men and women to be elected into public office who eventually through legislation as well as through court decisions have replaced the principles of God with those things that have advanced the agenda of the kingdom of darkness.

We must understand as Christians, the Church is the educational system in the earth. And we are called to influence world systems which include government and politics which plays a significant role in the moral direction of the nation. And if more principled men and women ruling in the fear of God were in elected into office, our nation would be in a much better standing.
Separation of Church and State
By Debbra Green

Over the years we've seen nativity scenes at Christmas time eliminated from public places, prayer was taken out of the public school system, Bibles eliminated from public school libraries, commencement exercises conducted without a prayer, monuments of the Ten Commandments being banished from government properties, and the Pledge of Allegiance coming under attack because of the phrase "under God". We’ve seen Merry Christmas replaced with Happy Holidays in stores and the singing of traditional Christmas carols in public schools become controversial in recent years. The answer to this shift lies in the notion of a "constitutional separation of church and state."

Throughout time, judges, ACLU attorneys, the secular culture, and the media in general have embraced the concept of "the constitutional separation of church and state" as though it actually existed. We hear this phrase on a daily basis yet – the words "separation," "church, "or "state" are not found anywhere in the First Amendment, neither are they found in any other founding document.

The phrase itself can be traced to a January 1, 1802 letter by Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptists in which he addressed their concerns regarding the Congregationalists Church becoming a state sponsored religion. Jefferson assured the Baptists in that letter that the first amendment guaranteed there would be no establishment of one denomination over another.

Initially Jefferson’s letter was used by the Court, not to establish a religion, but to make certain Christian principles, remained a part of government. So for one hundred and fifty years the First Amendment had always meant that Congress was prohibited from establishing a national religious denomination. Congress could not establish the Baptists, Methodists, Catholics, Lutherans, Anglicans or any other denomination. Everyone was free to worship as they pleased.

A shift from those guiding principles took place during the 1947 case of Everson v. Board of Education when the Court failed to cite Jefferson’s letter in its entirety. The justices took Jefferson’s “separation” clause, omitted Jefferson’s own explanation and arbitrarily created a new interpretation of the first amendment thus erecting “a wall of separation between church and state.” Since that time the nation has been reeling in the aftermath of that decision.

Since the 1947 ruling, the Courts (Supreme and lower courts) began to speak regularly of this separation. The phrase was used so often that in the 1958 case of Baer v. Kolmorgen, Justice Gallagher of the New York Supreme Court was prompted to write a dissent warning: "Much has been written in recent years concerning Thomas Jefferson's reference in 1802 to 'a wall of separation between church and State.' ... Jefferson's figure of speech has received so much attention that one would almost think at times that it is to be found somewhere in our Constitution.”
With the shifting of the political landscape over the years coupled with the mere opinion of individuals, judges, lawyers, and groups the "separation of church and state" phrase has been used and continues to be used as justification for moving the nation from the biblical principles to that of secular humanism which serves only to weaken the nation ethically and morally.

It has been said, "If a political system rejects one authority, it adopts another. If a biblical moral system is not being legislated, then an immoral system is being legislated.”
Psalms 33:12 says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.”

God’s Warnings to America
by Debbra Green

It is most interesting how in the aftermath of catastrophic events , that people have a tendency to turn to God, whether it be on an individual basis, in a local community or on a larger scale nationally. But when the dust settles it becomes business as usual and God is placed on the back burner. For instance the flood of 1993 which occurred in the Midwest was considered most devastating and costliest flood in U.S history. During that time, people of various races joined forces placing sandbags in various locations to stay the flood waters. Church attendance increased and people called on the name of the Lord. Very few acts of crime took place during that time period. It was a wonderful sight to see. Howbeit as the cycle goes, when all was said done, it became business as usual.

September 11, 2001 was a day which ushered the nation into thinking of its vulnerability to attack. The world was shocked, stunned, and horrified to see aircraft plunging into the Twin Towers on that fateful day. A day etched in the memories of the people. Play after play of video footage aired all over the world as news casters reported a major terrorist attack upon the United States. Mixed emotions surfaced as disbelief, heartbreak, sorrow, fear, paranoia, and anger gripped the nation. Thousands of lives were lost on that day. Such a thing happening on U.S soil was inconceivable but the nation had to come to grips with the grim reality. As with other times, there was a newly found reverence for God as well as an increase in church attendance. God talk even rolled off the lips of government officials while on government property as they momentarily cast aside partisan differences as well as the so called separation of church and state. Yet, that display of reverence for God proved to be superficial. Just as with other occasions that reverence was short lived.

Seven years after 9-11 the government made a decision which eventually caused the economy to collapse and a domino effect was felt throughout the world. This year, 2012, we’ve experienced one of the worst droughts in U.S. history which has caused irreparable damage to crops. Food prices will surge not only affecting the U.S. but nations worldwide. Unfortunately as a nation we tend to view these situations as no more than mere consequences stemming from extremes in weather conditions, economic shifts, or matters of defense and security. However, there is failure to realize there is a spiritual significance.

As a nation we have forsaken the guiding principles of God which caused this nation to be exalted and to prosper under the hand of God. And as we began to systematically abandon those principles, God began removing His hedge of protection and exposed the nation’s vulnerability. Does God want the nation to be subject to disaster or want to see it destroyed? The answer is a resounding, no. But we must understand that it is God’s utmost desire for our hearts turn to Him and for the nation to be blessed.

For those who understand the spiritual implications, it is evident that the nation is in trouble. God is allowing these things to take place in order to get our attention. He’s been sending warning, after warning, after warning. As with each calamity, when the dust settles, the nation goes back to business as usual with an illusion of well being. During those periods of illusions, hardened hearts increase with a growing animosity toward the ways of God.

Just as God dealt with ancient Israel, unless there is a turning back to God, there will come a time when God says enough is enough. Will we as a nation heed the warnings before it’s too late or will we continue on the path of national ruin? But in this season of uncertainties, God is moving the Church from a place of complacency and positioning her to fulfill His purpose in the earth realm. There is a remnant being raised up to intercede on behalf nation and to do great exploits. We can no longer continue to set idly by and allow the kingdom of darkness to take dominion over what God has given us. We must war for the things of God and it is not by our power or might but by the Spirit of the Lord

Will God Bring Judgement on America?
by Debbra Green

History tends to repeat itself. There is absolutely no doubt America is following in the same footsteps as the nation of Israel. Israel was pure in its inception and benefited from the covenant relationship they had with the true and living God. God loved Israel as long as they acknowledged His theocratic rule over their lives the nation prospered. They were victorious in battle against their enemies and the fruit of the ground was blessed to say the least.

Unfortunately their allegiance to God began to wane when their hearts turned to serving other gods, causing a rift in their relationship to God. Israel’s slippery slope to unfaithfulness led to their corruption. To make matters worse the people were ignorant or just plain indifferent concerning that corruption. God in His love began to remove His hedge of protection to get their attention. Instead of blessings they began to experience curses…reaping the consequences of their sins. Calamities befell them and the prophets called them to repentance, but the people failed to heed the warnings. God’s impending judgment was inevitable.

The northern kingdom eventually fell captive to the Assyrians while the southern kingdom which failing to learn from the plight of the northern kingdom later fell captive to Babylon for 70 years. God would have rather showered them with blessings but His patience was exhausted.

From the founding of America we were never really a nation that was designed to serve God exclusively. The first Amendment contains a clause regarding religious freedom in which we were given the absolute right to practice any religion of one’s choice, or no religion at all. In other words, one had the privilege of worshiping any god of his or her choice. But what was significant about America, our laws and principles were based on scripture which many of the nation’s historical records bear witness to. A 1982 Supreme Court decision cited 88 historical reasons of that fact after examining thousands of documents pertaining to the nation’s founding from every state constitution, compacts, and court decisions were all taken into account. Even our three branches of government, judicial, legislative, and executive, are based on Isaiah 33:22. "For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us".

One cannot deny that God indeed shed His grace on the nation so much that it became a beacon of hope, prosperity, and freedom for all who wanted to experience a better way of life and partake of America’s blessings. It was God’s favor which caused America to grow into an empire and to stand tall among the nations.

But the light that shined upon America has been dimmed by the gathering storm clouds. The guiding principles which helped sustain and caused the nation to prosper began to be called into question. More than ever before in the history of our nation we have seen so many Church and State matters being litigated in the courts to determine the constitutionality of a thing. Almost every nation’s political realm has come under the influence of those whose purpose is meant to detract humanity from the ways of God and to promote corruption.

As the consciousness of the nation began to shift, godly principles began to be considered outdated and abandoned sending a clear message that there is no room for the true and living God. We have become a nation exposed to a devilish campaign of demonic activity with a rise in secular humanism, religious ideologies, and occultism. The spirit of deception, delusion, and error has increased so much that many in the Church are even numbed by it. Rest assured if as a nation we continue on that downward spiral there will come a time when God will say enough is enough.
Time To Wake Up
By Debbra Green

People of God please come out of your slumber and wake up to what’s going on under our noses. In the recent years we have seen turmoil and social unrest on a global basis. There has been unrest between nations to the people’s dissatisfaction with government and its leaders. From the time of the Genesis account of the fall of man, Satan has been systematically implementing his agenda to turn man away from God’s sovereign rule.

It was soon after the flood account of Genesis chapter 7, civilizations were restored on the earth and rebellion against God raised its ugly head. During that time period the Bible brings our attention to a man who was described as a mighty hunter before the Lord whose name was Nimrod. He was the first man recorded in the scripture to set up his own kingdom to rule over the people. However, the very essence of that kingdom and its intentions was in direct rebellion against God. This was the first attempt at achieving a one world government.

Under Nimrod's leadership, the people were united not only in language but also were unified in their mindset. They wanted to make a name for themselves and in doing so they were attempting to bring glory to themselves rather than bringing God glory. This kingdom was going to be independent of God’s rule. Everything they imagined to do it would have been possible had not God confounded their language causing them to be scattered abroad upon the earth. Their mindset revealed the same pride and desire which caused Satan’s fall. Satan wanted to be in control apart from God’s sovereign rule.

According to Genesis 11:3 "And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar. ” Though much can be said regarding Genesis 11, what stands in this particular passage of scripture is they used alternate or a counterfeit building materials for that which was of greater quality. This is how the diabolical realm has been operating throughout the ages. By works of deception, error, and delusion we are being bombarded on a daily basis with those things that may give the appearance of truth regarding life but in actuality is far from it. It designed to be an alternate for the true things of God.

We are living in a time period that is leading up to the time of the great tribulation. And while the diabolical realm is working tirelessly implementing its agenda at full speed many within the Church does not have a clue as to what is happening. But it is time for the Church to awaken and discern the times. It is extremely important that we understand how the enemy is working in the systems of the world to gain control. Satan is a deceiver and stays under the radar so as to not to be detected. But we should not be ignorant of Satan's devices.

Timothy warned us to beware of the seducing spirits and doctrines of devils whose mission it is to cause believers to abandon the faith. The diabolical realm presents a false alternate reality to entrap your mind into believing Satan’s lies for the express purpose to pull you from the truth of creator God and the reality of Christ. Satan and his cohorts are working diligently vying for control of minds in preparation to set up a culture void of the power of God. Deception will hold you captive but the truth will set you free.

The time is on the horizon for the coming of the great falling away spoken of by the Apostle Paul. During that time the world will be ripe for the acceptance of Satan’s plan to be implemented within the earth realm. From the time of Nimrod there has been a diabolical agenda at work to bring about the manifestation of a New World Order also known as the One World Government that does not bare the rule of creator God in the consciousness of man. As a matter of fact this World Government will be ruled by an alternate Christ, i.e., the Antichrist, the man of sin, the son of perdition whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and lying wonders. Wake up from your slumber people of God and discern the times!

He who has an ear, let him hear.
